About the Woodinville Chamber
Chamber Mission
The Greater Woodinville Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit [501(c) 6], membership
organization, solely funded by membership dues and contributions. With the mission
"to promote, strengthen, and represent a successful business community," the chamber
is able to act as a combined voice to help focus government on the needs of the
business community. Just as the diversity of our community enriches and solidifies
our city, the diversity in the chamber solidifies and strengthens our businesses.
The Chamber fulfills its mission by:
- Creating business opportunities
- Promoting an environment for sustained prosperity
- Providing an environment for business networking
- Leading economic development efforts within the community
Chamber History
In 1962, Woodinville was a quaint village, a mixture of modest homes and a few scattered
businesses. In that year, local business people, foreseeing expansion and the need
for a focused community organization, formed the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce.
Seeing demands for more public facilities, comprehensive land use, and transportation
planning, the Chamber took a leading role in support of Woodinville's incorporation
in 1993 (and continues to grow with Woodinville's business and tourism)
While working to improve the infrastructure, the Chamber is mindful of the challenges
facing today's businesses. Through your investment in membership, in addition to
helping your business to succeed, you help the chamber become more effective in
their mission. Assisting more than 300 businesses, the Chamber provides continuing
business education, marketing information and opportunities, and business-to-business
networking. Annually, the Chamber answers thousands of inquiries, and makes numerous
business referrals.
Chamber staff are available to answer your questions Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00pm.
