Ambassadors
Ambassadors are an essential part of the Chamber’s Member Service Committee, helping answer questions and welcoming attendees. Be the goodwill arm of the chamber by participating on the Membership Service Committee. Meets the first Tuesday of each month, noon – 1 p.m.

Goals:
* Develop a set of metrics to measure on a monthly basis how we are doing with cancellations and new members, and retention.
* Increase membership by 15% or more (Randy).
* Communicate the benefits of joining the chamber (orientation, membership notebooks).
* Develop better communications with membership (personal contact, etc.).
* Plan for your succession.
Education Committee
Work towards providing educational business opportunities for our members, and promoting education within the local community. Meets the first Wednesday each month, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.

Goals:
* Increase the involvement of Chamber members with the Backpacks For Kids campaign, as measured by the number of people we have who come down to help pack the backpacks. Last year we had five Education Committee members participate. I’d like to double that number to ten which includes people who are not part of the Education Committee, for 2008.
* Plan and execute three Education Committee seminars (we really need a better name for this event) in 2008. Last year we ran one.

* Continue to improve on events to make them more business friendly

Executive/Operations Committee

Goals:
Marc - Develop a set of financials that are accurate, auditable, timely, and support decision making
Suggest a way to improve the way we collect on our accounts receivable (invoicing, pre-payments)
Develop a strategic cash flow forecast that can be reviewed every month
Develop a three year pro-forma financial plan
Develop a 2008 detailed budget - first priority
Review financials twice a year with finance committee (July 1 and January 1)
Patrick - Develop a board succession plan for the next three years and personell development plan
McClure - Review all contracts, including staff employment agreements, annually
Robin - Annual By-Law review
